Fundraiser for Gaza 2024
Our Fundraising Day in aid of Uisce for Gaza was held on Sunday 8 December 2024.
Our chosen charity was Uisce for Gaza, an initiative of the Kildare Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Uisce for Gaza is a grassroots humanitarian aid project, focused on bringing clean, fresh water to people living in Gaza.
Your donations have made an enormous difference, raising enough money to provide more than 4 trucks of fresh drinking water.
Did you know...
Less than 4% of the water currently available in Gaza is drinkable?
This means that people who are already displaced, living in tents, injured, ill, grieving, children, babies, the elderly, have to drink, cook, and wash in dirty water.
€360 covers all the costs associated with delivering a truckload (4,500 litres) of water to Gaza.
Your donations have made an enormous difference, raising enough money to provide more than 4 trucks of fresh, clean drinking water to the most vulnerable and deprived areas of Gaza.
